How do I start a chat?

You can start a chat from a user's profile. Click the message icon or message button on their profile.

Why can't I send messages to some users?

This may be due to the user's privacy settings. Messages are also unavailable if you have been blocked or your email address has not yet been verified.

Where can I find my chats?

You can find your conversations in the Messages section. There you can see your existing chats and unread messages.

What does the message counter mean?

The counter shows your unread messages. Once you open the chat and the message has been read, the counter disappears automatically.

Can I send pictures in messages?

Yes. You can attach pictures to a message. Private pictures from your gallery can also be used in chats.

What does "View Once" mean for pictures?

If you send a picture as "View Once", the recipient can open it only a single time. After that it is marked as viewed and can no longer be opened again.

Can I delete a chat?

Yes. You can delete chats from the chat list. This removes the chat from your view.

What happens if I block someone?

If you block a user, they can no longer send you messages. Direct contact between both of you is restricted.

Can I report users?

Yes. If you notice inappropriate messages or behavior, you can report the user through their profile.

Why are some pictures displayed blurred?

Pictures may appear blurred if they are set to View Once or have not yet been opened. Once opened, their status changes accordingly.
